How do I attach the funtube to my boat?

Purchasing a funtube is the first step for a lot of fun on the water. But before the fun can start you need to attach your funtube to your boat. It is important to know which model is suitable for your boat. We have listed a number of tips for you, so that you will get the most out of your funtube.

Tip 1: Find the funtube that suits your boat

Almost all funtubes can be attached to a speedboat with the accompanying accessories. You just need a line and a bridle and you are good to go. If you have a boat with less horsepower, we recommend that you choose a fun band with more volume. A higher volume creates more buoyancy. As a result, the tire remains better on the water and the boat therefore needs less force to pull the funtube.

Tip 2: Take a bungee rope

By using a bungee rope you protect your funtube and your boat. The bungee rope is an elastic rope that you attach between the boat and the funtube. The force of the drag is absorbed by the bungee rope. As a result, both the boat and the funtube catch less impact as soon as the funtube loses its tension. This way your funtube will last longer.

Tip 3: Keep the funtube line away from the propeller

When you attach your funtube to the boat, you naturally want to make sure that the line of the funtube does not get into the propeller of the boat. Therefore, attach the funtube line in combination with a funtube bridle. You attach the bridle to the left and right behind the boat and ensure that the funtube line hangs in a V-shape behind the boat. This way you prevent the funtube line from getting between the propeller of the motor and thus protect both the motor and the funtube line against damage.
